For June 30, 2008: Exactly How Odd is THE MODNIKS No. 1?
ONE ODDBALL (THE MODNIKS makes about as much of an impression on me as “Little Bit” contributed to its stories -- in other words, not even a little bit!)
TWO ODDBALLS (“’Scot” may be a pretty blonde, but her brain is about as empty as this comic’s depiction of the “mod” lifestyle from a middle-aged perspective!)
THREE ODDBALLS (I wanna see THE MODNIKS meet cartoonist Frank Roberge’s Oddball Inuit, NOODNIK!)
FOUR ODDBALLS (May THE MODNIKS’ “Wheels” keep rock ’n’ rollin’ to that ODDBALL beat!)
FIVE ODDBALLS (I refuse to “Lump” this funnybook in with inferior comic series that also include the word “mod” in their titles!)
